Developing a National Energy Action Plan

As of: September 2021

The project supported Namibia in developing a sustainable energy supply strategy. Based on an analysis of the country’s energy supply structures, it developed recommendations for action, including both specific measures and changes to the overall regulatory framework. These recommendations were then discussed and refined as part of a process of communication among stakeholders in the field of energy policy. This process included identifying potential opportunities for investment in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects that could be implemented in collaboration with German companies.
