Scholarship programme for young management professionals from developing and emerging countries in the field of climate and resource protection

As of: April 2020

Objective and activities

International experts in academia and industry are extremely interested in Germany as an attractive location for research and further training. The aims of the programme are to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and methods to the target countries and the integration of fellows into the international Alexander von Humboldt Foundation network. The fellowship programme will establish long-term cooperation between prospective leaders and German and international partners as well as strengthen the collaboration with specialist colleagues in Germany. By transferring the knowledge of climate protection and resource conservation gained in Germany the fellows will contribute through policy advice and research directly or indirectly to more sustainable, efficient and social development in their countries. Capacity building and new cooperation will allow them to use the knowledge and their networks in their home countries.
