Strategic Environmental Dialogue Forums with Partner Countries on Gearing their Economies Towards Resource and Energy Efficiency
As of: November 2020
Building on the first phase, the aim of the project’s second phase was to extend strategic environmental policy dialogue with major newly industrialising countries such as Brazil, China, India and Thailand. In close cooperation with the selected partner countries, the project provided technical, strategic and organisational support for bilateral environmental policy forums held in the context of regional German business initiatives (for example, the Asia-Pacific Committee or Latin America Initiative of German Business). The dialogue forums were generally connected with a business exchange, and in specific cases, with an environmental trade fair.
