Supporting the Mediterranean Solar Plan (MSP) and Union for the Mediterranean (UfM)

As of: September 2021

The project helped partner countries in the MENA region to exploit domestic renewable energy resources and enabled them to be actively involved in shaping international processes in this field. It helped create favourable political frameworks in which national strategies and support schemes can be more effectively structured. The project also developed models for involving private sector and civil society actors in large-scale projects as well as approaches for promoting local value creation.
