Sustainable Energy Advisory Facility (SEAF)

As of: December 2020

The project aimed at strengthening the capacity of partners in Latin America and the Caribbean to develop sustainable energy and climate protection plans. It advised other ongoing projects on the use of renewable energy and promoted synergies between them, identified appropriate environmental technologies, and integrated energy programmes into overall sustainable development strategies. To do this, it established an energy advisory facility for Latin America, which has been raising awareness of sustainable energy projects among public sector decision-makers and private investors, and providing support in identifying, planning and implementing them.
