Sustainable Forest Management
As of: September 2021
The project helped state agencies and local communities to manage selected forest areas sustainably. The project partners were carrying out afforestation measures in mountain regions and drylands, working with forest users to develop and implement local management plans. The project was also advising the forestry administration on establishing viable organisational structures and training technical personnel in setting up and operating a monitoring system for greenhouse gas emissions and deforestation.
