Training Leaders in the Environment and Climate Sector
As of: January 2021
The aim of the project was to impart the theoretical basis for implementing environmental and climate policies as well as communicating Germany’s experiences in this area to high-ranking decision-makers and future leaders of the Communist Party. In addition, the project helped to establish these issues more firmly through curricula for Chinese managers, building on the environmental goals described in the 11th and 12th Five-Year Plans and the goals of China’s National Climate Change Programmes approved in June 2007.
