Transforming Evidence into Change: a Holistic Approach to Governance for EbA - GO4EbA
As of: January 2021
The project promotes the greater use and establishment of ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA) measures in the Mesoamerican region with the aim to integrate the EbA-approach in the social, economic, and environmental policies of the countries involved, as well as in their decision-making processes and governance structures. Drawing on existing EbA initiatives and new EbA pilot projects in the region, the project collects and presents information on the advantages associated with EbA in terms. To these efforts it develops instruments such as databases and monitoring and evaluation systems, including the appropriate criteria and indicators. A regional ‘EbA hub’ supports the dissemination and application of the existing knowledge.
