Trigeneration Trauma Center All India Institute

The project’s aim was to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through the deployment of efficient trigeneration systems and to demonstrate the economic and technical viability of trigeneration technology to potential users by means of a pilot plant. A website provided interested parties with information about the technology and suppliers. In addition, the project evaluated further potential sites, informed suppliers about market opportunities and developed an action plan to help create an enabling environment for trigeneration.

  • 33 short energy assessments conducted and seven audits carried out for selecting a suitable building for the pilot plant; trigeneration plant installed, inspected and approved at the Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Center
  • Two information events aimed at a specialist audience and around 50 seminars on the potential of trigeneration technology carried out
  • TRIGEN website designed and launched
  • Best practice case study carried out
