Reconciling Industrialization and Climate Action in Emerging Economies: The Role of South-South and International Collaboration

The high-level roundtable is being convened by Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) and the Council for Critical Minerals Development in the Global South, as part of the ‘From India, with others: A shared journey forward’ programming led by India Climate Collaborative.

The roundtable will explore how south-south and international collaboration can be leveraged to support emerging economies in their efforts to jointly advance industrialization and climate action agendas. Bringing together leaders from government, financing institutions, industry and development partners, the roundtable will examine concrete pathways for mobilizing climate finance, and identify the critical policy, technological and institutional enablers required to support emerging economies implement industrialization strategies aligned with climate goals.
