Three new IKI projects launched
Here you will find an overview of the funding areas in which our latest projects have been launched.
Since 2008, the German Federal Government has been supporting climate action and biodiversity conversation through the International Climate Initiative (IKI). More than 1,000 projects in around 150 partner countries have been supported with a total of almost 7 billion euros.
Currently, three new projects have been launched, reflecting the strategic focus of the funding programme. The projects are spread all over the world. They range from local ways of phasing out coal to the development and construction of zero-emission ships and the coexistence of man and nature.
An overview of the new projects can be found here:
New in funding area I: Mitigating greenhouse gas emissions
New in funding area IV: Conserving biological diversity
We look forward to working together and wish the IKI implementing organisations and their partners a good start to the project!
