Climate Finance in Latin America

Promoting transformation with Germany’s International Climate Initiative (IKI): Latin America is an important partner for Germany in climate mitigation, adaptation and biodiversity conservation. The IKI supports the development of innovative climate finance approaches in the region. The session highlighted the challenges and suggested solutions for mobilizing additional climate finance towards transformational changes in Latin American countries and showcased the support of selected and replicable IKI projects.
