Participatory process of the regulation of the Framework law on climate change in Peru

The Regulation of the Framework Law on Climate Change is an instrument that strengthens the governance and multisectoral, multilevel and multiactor institutionality to face climate change in Peru. More than 2,000 representatives of civil society participated in the process of building the Regulation. Emphasis was placed on the participation of indigenous peoples because they are the groups most affected by climate change, with indigenous women receiving most of the negative impact.
