As of: October 2018

Objective and activities

Targeted at young experts from developing and emerging countries outside Europe who are active in the fields of science, business and administration in their home countries, this scholarship programme promotes the exchange of knowledge, methodologies and technologies in the field of climate protection and resource conservation. Up to 20 scholarships are sponsored each year. Besides carrying out a research project of their own choosing in the field of climate protection and resource conservation at a host institution in Germany, the recipients of the scholarships also benefit from seminars and training courses designed to familiarise them with the various dimensions of climate protection and resource conservation in Germany and convey practical knowledge and management skills.
