TAM: Enhancing Energy Efficiency in Russia

Objective and activities

This project provided targeted advisory services to increase the energy efficiency of micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises in the Russian Federation. Experienced executives and senior managers from developed countries advised management of selected companies in the Russian Federation which have high potential for energy savings. The aim was to help Russian managers identifying energy-saving potential within the respective company and to raise awareness on the economic advantages of introducing energy-efficient technologies and materials.

State of implementation/results

  • Project completed
  • EBRD has provided consultancy services to companies in the Russian Federation, carrying out various energy efficiency audits. Specific investment measures are currently being implemented or planned in five companies.
  • EBRD has carried out two energy efficiency seminars in the Russian Federation.
