TREE project: Transfer Renewable Energy & Efficiency Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Know-how Transfer and Capacity Building for Decision-makers from Developing and Newly Industrialising Countries

Objective and activities

The TREE project was sharing the practical knowledge needed to develop, introduce and use technologies in the area of renewable energy and energy efficiency. The target groups were key actors from developing countries and emerging economies. For example, the project was carried out numerous seminars in various regions of the world and developed distance learning courses and guidelines for decision-makers. So this created an enabling environment for investment in renewable energy measures and promotes their quick and sustainable implementation.
