Ayaka Kanaike, a student from the Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, at the Kyoto University in Japan interned with WWF-Malaysia in their Sarawak Office. During her internship, she had the opportunity to assist with the nest counting in the Song-Katibas area on Borneo within the framework of the IKI project “Green growth in the Heart of Borneo: Integrating conservation, economic development and well-being of communities across a transboundary landscape”.
