The regular exchange of information between project implementing organisations and their partners is necessary if projects are to run successfully. The Mexican-German Climate Alliance has launched this blog as a new communication platform to foster dialogue between the project partners and interested members of the public in both countries.

At www.climate.blue (German and Spanish, external), experts from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) provide information on activities, highlights and trends from six current projects in Mexico. GIZ is implementing a number of climate change mitigation projects in Mexico on behalf of the German Government, some of them under the framework of the International Climate Initiative supported by Germany's Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety. Climate.blue also has the latest news on the international climate negotiations. It is a multimedia blog linked to a YouTube channel and a newsletter, and provides daily updates via Twitter. It is the go-to platform for people who need detailed information on Mexican-German cooperation on climate change.
