The ICI's New Look

The internet presence of the International Climate Initiative (ICI) is now available in a colourful new format. However, the new ICI website doesn't just look good, it comes with a whole range of additional improvements. Under the 'Issues' menu item, for example, you can now find more information about the ICI's funding areas and related topics. The content of the different pages is now cross-linked more effectively and the search function has been expanded so that you can more easily locate the information you're interested in.

The German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) has always placed particular importance on transparency towards the public and the previous website already published information about all of the projects supported by the ICI. Presenting these projects continues to be a core element of the new website. The majority of these descriptions have been updated for the website's relaunch and supplemented with information about the current status of implementation and the (interim) results; all of the remaining project descriptions will soon be revised as well.

Last year, some users of the ICI website participated in a survey of possibilities for improving the website. The feedback provided here was very helpful and largely fed into the process of revising the website. Thanks very much!

We hope that you will be happy with the new ICI website and will enjoy exploring it!
