As a part of the relaunch of ci:grasp 2.0, this freely accessible and interactive online platform is seeking new contributions of projects concerned with adaptation to the impacts of climate change. You can use the database to enter information about your projects, thus enriching the body of knowledge and advancing international exchange about adaptation strategies and methods, and the experiences made with such approaches. The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) are implementing the 'Climate Impacts: Global and Regional Adaptation Support Platform' (ci:grasp) project with support from the International Climate Initiative (ICI). In addition to information on adaptation measures, the platform uses multiple interactive presentations of climate change. Using historical and future climate parameters such as temperature, precipitation and sea-level rise, the platform also provides forecasts of global climatic changes and impacts on selected regions, including socio-economic effects.
