Amendment Request

We are pleased to inform you that the attached template is to be used from December 01, 2016 onwards and refers to all amendment related subjects that have to be approved by the BMU. Amendment requests submitted in any other format can no longer be processed to BMU. An additional cover letter is not required.

Please note the following exceptions: The shift of funds or the extension of the project duration under six months within the current fiscal year shall be submitted via E-Mail and the amendment request template shall not be used.

Public Relations

The Public Relations team supports projects of the International Climate Initiative (IKI) to communicate information on activities, successes and results achieved.

It is important in this context that the projects present themselves in a uniform way to the public. As a general rule, there should be a clear indication of the support from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) for the project, for example in publications, in reports, on the website, during events, and in working with the media, etc.

Please contact IKI PR to receive the corresponding BMU logo with additional text. The logo is available in different languages.

In addition, please inform us with any news about your project that is of public interest. In some cases, these will be presented on the website or through Twitter:

  • events of public interest such as conferences, technical seminars, exhibitions, etc.
  • studies, press releases and film and radio features
  • relevant newsletters and other publications
