Information for IKI implementing organisations

Recipients of project funding will find here information on reports on the progress of their project, on amendment requests and PR work .

Reporting

Recipients of project funding must report on the progress of their project to the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) at regular intervals. Interim reports must be submitted to the IKI Secretariat by 30 April. 

The period covered by these reports is to 31 December of the previous year.

If a project has ended, a final report must be submitted to the IKI Secretariat within six months. This consists of a status report and a financial report.

Interim Report

The interim report consists of a status report and a financial statement (proof of use of funds). Please submit the documents electronically (as MS Word, Excel compatible file and PDF document), quoting the project number in the subject line, to the IKI Secretariat by 30 April: iki-secretariat(at)z-u-g.org

Final Report

The final report consists of a status report and a financial report. A printed copy and an electronic version of each document must be submitted. For electronic submission, the financial report must be presented in an Excel file; a PDF is not acceptable.

Note for preparation phases

In the case of the preparation phase, a final report shall be submitted in accordance with the sample templates. Kindly fill in only the passages relevant for the preparation phase. The length of the final report should not exceed 5-10 pages of text.

The IKI Secretariat will be pleased to provide further information at your request.


Amendment Request

Please use the template below for all amendment related subjects that have to be approved by BMU. Amendment requests submitted in any other format cannot be processed. An additional cover letter is not required.

Please note the following exceptions: The shift of funds or the extension of the project duration under six months within the current fiscal year shall be submitted via e-mail and the amendment request template shall not be used.
 

Public relations

The communications team supports projects of the International Climate Initiative (IKI) to communicate information on activities, successes and results achieved.

It is important in this context that the projects present themselves in a uniform way to the public. As a general rule, there should be a clear indication of the support from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) for the project, for example in publications, in reports, on the website, during events, and in working with the media, etc.

Please contact us to receive the corresponding BMU logo with additional text. The logo is available in different languages.
