The IKI makes an impact!
Climate change and the loss of biodiversity are two global mega-crises that are closely interlinked. Through the International Climate Initiative (IKI), Germany supports climate action and biodiversity conservation in the Global South.
Our approach is to support projects where they are most effective – in areas where there is significant potential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, adapting to climate change and conserving biodiversity.
#IKIstories
Our IKI stories showcase the impact of projects funded through Germany’s International Climate Initiative – and give a voice to the people on the ground.
Discover the people, ideas and changes behind the International Climate Initiative!
