Global Climate Finance Landscape Report
Reliable, accessible climate‑finance data is essential for an effective global transition. This project will generate granular, user‑friendly data on worldwide climate finance together with leading analysis of funding sources, destination geographies and sectors, and the instruments used. Governments, climate funds, development finance institutions, private investors and researchers will rely on these data and insights to guide investment decisions. The work will support climate‑finance analysis in major international publications and processes, including reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the biennial reports of the Standing Committee on Finance of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and climate‑negotiations. By tracking both public and private, international and domestic flows, the project will underpin monitoring of the New Collective Quantified Goal, which aims to mobilise at least USD 1.3 trillion per year by 2035.
