Medium Grants 2025
Status of the procedure
The projects for the sixth IKI Medium Grants Funding Call have been selected following a comprehensive assessment process and selection discussions involving the responsible reviewers and the relevant ministries. The deadline for the submission of project outlines was 20 January 2026.
All organisations whose project ideas could not be considered under this year's call have been informed by email.
A total of 296 project outlines were submitted by 211 different implementing organisations across the two thematic priorities of the IKI Medium Grants Call 2025.
The Funding Call, published in November 2025, invited project outlines under the following two thematic priorities:
I. Climate action through Circular Economy: Local approaches
II. “Towards locally-led ecosystem-based adaptation”: Strengthening of local capacities for cli-mate change adaptation
In total, ten projects were selected, representing a combined funding volume of EUR 7,434,722.
Of these:
- five projects fall under Thematic Priority I, with a total funding volume of EUR 3,712,445;
- five projects fall under Thematic Priority II, with a total funding volume of EUR 3,722,277.
The selected projects are expected to start from the first quarter of 2027.
