This joint side event will examine how climate risk regulation can be made inclusive and proportionate to avoid unintended exclusionary effects. It aligns closely with COP30’s priorities on climate justice, finance for adaptation, and a just transition. This event will serve as the launch of the IGFWG + GSPWG KP on the above theme.
