Enabling the triple win for tropical peatland countries – advancing water, biodiversity and carbon measurements.

The event will showcase impressions lasting 5-8 minutes from each speaker, focusing on achievement crucial aspects of peatland conservation and restoration – water management and its relation to GHG emissions, carbon storage and nature measurements. The session will conclude with key takeaways, and a call to action by the GPI and ITPC partner countries - reflecting on their need and ambition to set science-based targets for peatlands protection, restoration and sustainable management.
