Local solutions to interconnected crises: community-centered approach for transformative change and sustainable development
At this joint event the grant-makers, development partners, government and civil society representatives will reflect on the importance of community-focused approach for addressing converging global challenges and the impacts of the local initiatives they supported and implemented. The discussion will focus on the role of local communities and civil society as key agents of change in advancing climate and sustainable development goals together.
The Moderator will open the session with brief remarks and introduce the run of show. The moderator will then pose the round of questions, where panelists will be allotted 5 minutes for their interventions. Before answering questions, the panelists will briefly introduce themselves (1-2 minutes)
Following the panel discussion (30 min), the floor will be open for the interactive discussion and Q&A (28 minutes). The partners will reflect on ways to expand support to civil society organizations for climate action and SDG implementation.
