One UN for multi-level Climate Action: Unlocking Finance and Implementation for NDCs and NAPs
On 17 November 2025 (13:15–14:45) in the Blue Zone – Side Event Room 1, the One UN Side Event “One UN for Multi-Level Climate Action: Unlocking Finance and Implementation for NDCs and NAPs” convenes high-level representatives from UNU-EHS, UN-Habitat, UNDP, UNCDF, UNFCCC PCCB, UNEP, WHO, and UNDRR.
This joint session will explore how coherence across institutions, innovative finance tools, integrated urban solutions, and South-South collaboration can translate national commitments into tangible results. By aligning Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) with local implementation, the discussion aims to unlock finance, strengthen resilience, and foster inclusive, risk-informed climate action.
Speakers include the Brazilian Minister of Environment, the Head of UN-Habitat, the Vice-Rector of UNU, and other international leaders.
