Solutions for biodiversity and climate – PANORAMA

This partnership event will introduce insights from practical solutions that address biodiversity conservation and the climate crisis in an integrated manner, drawing from the vast portfolio of PANORAMA – Solutions for a Healthy Planet and bringing in voices from the field. It will also include the beta launch of the new, majorly improved PANORAMA web platform.

The first part of the event will introduce PANORAMA’s knowledge management approach and highlight its relevance in the context of the Global Biodiversity Framework and Paris Agreement. Practitioners from the field will share their examples of integrated climate-biodiversity solutions and how they have built on existing success stories. Common insights from PANORAMA’s more than 500 solution case studies on climate issues will be discussed with the audience.

In the 2nd part, the speakers will outline how “PANORAMA 2.0” will move into the future and enhance its relevance, to even better support uptake of existing solutions on the ground and in decision-making, thanks to major new investments.

As a first step into the future of PANORAMA, the event will conclude with a celebration of the new web platform (full launch: Q1 2024), including a live demonstration of all major new features.
