Weaving the Future: Latin-American Youth and Women Facing the Challenges of Climate Scenario

This session will bring together youth and women leaders from Latin America, including members of the CLAAC Coalition, to share their experiences, challenges, and lessons in climate advocacy. Through collective dialogue, participants will explore the structural barriers and geopolitical inequalities that shape their engagement in climate action, from local initiatives to international forums.

The discussion will focus on strategies to strengthen youth and women’s voices in climate policy, emphasizing collaborative approaches to advocacy at COP30 and beyond. By highlighting regional experiences, the session aims to inspire actionable insights, foster networks, and amplify the role of Latin American youth and women as key agents in shaping a just and equitable climate future.
