Renewable energy and energy efficiency have played a central role in the International Climate Initiative (IKI) since its inception in 2008. The IKI supports more than 100 renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. The factsheet presents a very prominent wind energy investment project in South Africa, Jeffrey´s Bay Wind Farm, co-funded by the IKI.
