In Nepal, invasive alien plant species threaten forests, biodiversity, and livelihoods. With support from IKI Small Grants, ForestAction Nepal worked hand in hand with local communities to restore ecosystems, manage invasive species, and promote natural regeneration.
The project links forest restoration with sustainable agriculture, specifically through innovative production and use of biomass.
