Tactical urbanism in Maginhawa Street, Quezon City, Philippines
In Quezon City, the project launched a tactical urbanism intervention on Maginhawa Street, a vibrant hub for food, arts, and community life that faces mobility challenges. From December 2024 to February 2025, a section was transformed into a walkable, cyclable, and social space. Through community dialogues and workshops, an experimental reduction of car traffic was implemented, leading to the creation of a protected bike lane and a widened pedestrian zone.
