Global Nature-based Solutions Navigator
Nature-based Solutions (NbS) are recognized as key actions to address global challenges, including climate change and biodiversity loss. This project develops the NbS Navigator, a platform enables governments, non-governmental stakeholders to plan, implement, and monitor NbS efforts while aligning them with global frameworks. At the national level, the project strengthens synergies across the implementation of the Rio Conventions through joint planning between NDCs, NBSAPs, LDNs, and national development plans. By establishing a knowledge repository and providing tailored guidance, the project builds capacity and fosters collaboration. It also aims to accelerate the mobilisation of public and private investment through sustainable finance mechanisms. Through the IUCN NbS Africa Regional Hub and the global ENACT partnership, the project promotes cross-border knowledge exchange, stakeholder cooperation, and the visibility of successful NbS initiatives.
