IKI Gender Community of Practice: "C" for Community (seminar A)

As we are already approaching February it is time to invite you to the first 2025 meeting of the Gender Community of Practice (GCoP). We had interesting discussions and sharings on technical topics in the last GCOPs 2024 and are looking forward to continue having them also this year. However, this year’s first GCoP we would like to start it off with a slightly different spin.  We are planning to dedicate the upcoming GCoP to the C for Community in its name, thus creating a space to get to know us better and build connections and community. 

For the upcoming meeting we would like to create plenty of opportunities to exchange and get to know our fellow members and our work better. There will be no featured technical topic this time, instead, we would like to offer you the opportunity to bring in a challenge or issue related to your work on gender/gender justice and work with the community on generating ideas how to handle it and on finding solutions. Kindly start pondering already what this could be so that you are prepared for an input at the event.
Naturally, you are in no way obliged to do so and are free to just participate but we would request your willingness to offer your experience, expertise, and insights to others who would like to make use of this opportunity. 

The agenda will include sessions on “Getting to know each other”, “Reflection and exchange on working on gender justice” and “Drawing on the community: challenges and solutions.” 

There are two events with identical content (18/02/2025 7:30 am - 9:30 am UTC and 20/02/2025 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm UTC), but for technical reasons two different dial-in links will be provided. So please consider which time slot suits you best and register for it.

We would like to invite you to become co-host of a GCoP this year. If you are interested in co-hosting please reach out.  

We are looking forward to seeing you at the GCoP. We are very happy to have received many requests of colleagues to be included in the GCoP.  Please feel free to tell your colleagues who might be interested in joining the GCoP about it and share the information with them.
