Cover of the Carnauba Production Chain Good Practice Manual

This guide contains the first comprehensive compilation of existing practices for social, biodiversity and quality standards in carnaúba wax production. Carnaúba wax is extracted from the leaves of a palm tree species in northeastern Brazil and is used in numerous products, including food or cosmetics, polishes, release agents, etc. The guide provides tips for improving the supply chain and is thus not only aimed at field workers and producers, but also provides information for international suppliers, traders and end customers of carnaúba wax.
