Cover Report "Gender and NDCs: Country Progress and Key Findings"

The IKI-project UNDP "NDC Support Programme" organized a global gender workshop on the NDC planning for implementation from April 24-26, 2019 in Nairobi, Kenya.With a focus on governance, planning and policy alignment, workshop participants discussed gender concepts; progress on what has been done in each country to date; climate finance and international processes including the UNFCCC. There was also a strong focus on NDC enhancement and the NDC-SDG nexus. This report presents country progress and key findings on gender and NDCs that was collected around the time of the workshop.
