The IKI project "Growing Greener" works on upscaling Herding for Health (H4H) as a model for improved rangeland management in Southern Africa. To improve the livelihoods of agropastoralists in Zambia's Simalaha Community Conservancy, the project supports the diversification of agricultural income streams. This includes the production of chilis as a low-input crop grown under shade trees for additional ecological benefits.
