With support from Germany’s IKI Small Grants programme, Ecuador’s Instituto Nacional de Biodiversidad (INABIO) worked with schools around the country to create hands-on biodiversity education. The initiative has now reached over 1,000 schools. Locally led, INABIO's educational offering is doing more than educating. It is driving systemic change and engages children and youth to step up for nature protection and conservation.
