Renewable Energy Solutions Programme (“RES Programme”)

The project supports Ukraine in the transition of energy systems in line with the energy transition and green reconstruction in accordance with the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. The aim of the project is to expand renewable energies - primarily PV/solar thermal, biomass and geothermal heat pumps - in Ukraine. The funding is aimed at small and medium-sized public institutions, that can apply for funding from the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. Synergies in the development and expansion of renewable energies in Ukraine are to be created and used through the combination with other projects. In addition to expanding the energy grid, this measure also aims to increase stability and resilience through decentralised expansion.
