Online seminar on the IKI Independent Complaint Mechanism
The International Climate Initiative (IKI) is committed to complying with international environmental and social standards (safeguards) as well as standards regarding the prevention of fraud, corruption and unethical behaviour in order to strengthen the effectiveness, sustainability and quality of projects. The IKI Independent Complaint Mechanism (ICM) is intended to enable people who suffer (potential) negative social and/or environmental consequences from IKI projects, or who wish to report the improper use of funds, to voice their complaints and seek redress.
The complaint mechanism is also handling complaints regarding the grants programme again maritime litter.
To accompany the work of the IKI Complaint Mechanism Policy, the IKI offers an online seminar for interested implementing organisations and implementing partners as well as potentially affected persons and non-governmental organisations to inform themselves about the new aspects resulting from the IKI Independent Complaint Mechanism policy.
You can find more information on the overview page of the complaints mechanism.
The online seminars will take place in English. If you would like to have a session in French or Spanish, please get back to us at iki-complaints(at)z-u-g.org.
