COVID-19 and how to establish a sustainable and climate resilient vaccine cold chain

The publication is aiming for the establishment of a smart, sustainable, green and climate-friendly cold chain, which is aligned and consistent with multilateral agreements. Additionally, the paper emphasizes that the procurement of cold chain equipment can be seen as a chance for green recovery and climate resilience. A special focus is put on guidance in the procurement of climate-friendly and energy-efficient vaccine cooling and freezing technology solutions.
