The “Guidelines on Developing and Implementing A Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan” (SUMP Guidelines), published in their 2nd edition by the European Commission in 2019, can help cities worldwide to better integrate urban and mobility planning, satisfying the mobility needs of people and businesses while reducing carbon emissions and improving the quality of urban life. To promote the SUMP concept in China and to make it widely available to Chinese planners and policy makers, the SUMP Guidelines are now available in Chinese language.
