Climate change threatens progress toward the SDGs with disproportionate impacts on vulnerable communities. Low-emission development pathways can advance socioeconomic development when grounded in equity and justice. This study builds on G20 consensus and outlines how integrated climate mitigation and development approaches can unlock joint opportunities and support action under the South African G20 Presidency. It forms part of a G20 study compendium.
