Report
The article analyzes the FAO's flawed definition of soil diversity, the three main risks to ground-nesting pollinators (pesticide accumulation in the soil, late tillage, soil-compacting heavy machinery), and explains necessary protection measures: pesticide risk analyses must use ground-nesting pollinators instead of honeybees and be conducted under real field conditions, education campaigns for farmers, safe nesting areas through strips of perennial crops, adaptation of the FAO definition.
