Through Comunidades Indígenas por los Bosques—a low‑value grant initiative led by UNDP Colombia—local organizations received direct support to protect ecosystems, restore native species, and empower youth and women as environmental leaders. This joint effort unites two UNDP flagship projects—BES‑Net, via the BES Solution Fund, and Climate Promise—bridging global climate and biodiversity goals with local leadership on the ground.
