IKI Brown Bag Lunch: End-of-Life Management in the Cooling Sector
This IKI Brown Bag Lunch presented highlights from the pilot work of the Climate and Ozone Protection Alliance (COPA) in the areas of policy, technology, financing and implementation.
The Climate and Ozone Protection Alliance was launched in 2021 as part of an IKI project. Since then, COPA has paved the way for sector-enhanced global environmental protection in the field of refrigerants.
Today, in 2026, COPA has more than 80 active members, an elected steering committee, a secretariat provided by UNIDO and UNDP, and a strong commitment to life-cycle-based refrigerant management.
