Latin America and the Caribbean in Action for Pollinating Insects Through the Project Poli-LAC
Bees and other pollinating insects are essential to life on our planet. They sustain biodiversity, support food security and sustainable agriculture.
Across Latin America and the Caribbean, producers, park rangers, scientists and governments are taking action to protect pollinators:
- advancing policies and mobilising resources,
- generating reliable scientific knowledge, and
- promoting pollinator-friendly practices such as planting native species and reducing pesticide use.
