Promoting Green Deal Readiness in the Eastern Partnership Countries (ProGRess)

The project supports the Eastern Partnership countries' transition to climate-oriented, resilient and green economic development. It aims to improve the conditions for transforming selected agricultural and related industrial food value chains of relevance for the countries and trade relations with the EU. It promotes the introduction of innovative technologies and tools that provide a significant impetus for a transition to greater sustainability, climate resilience and long-term GHG mitigation in the region. Better access to financing options will facilitate implementation. Good practices will be fostered via regional exchange and anchored in the institutional structures of regional and national implementing partners. The multi-donor action includes further activities on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, adaptation action and green finance in line with the Paris Agreement and EU standards on environment and climate.
